The current education system focuses on developing the intellect of an individual and instills the students with a lot of independence and confidence. But somewhere down the line I strongly feel, that the traditional education system which aimed at fostering values like contentment, honesty, obedience, and patience has lost its essence altogether.
In todays world, where everybody is competing and trying hard to progress, no one has the time to ponder upon the ethics which have practically become non existent.
As education plays a major role in shaping the personality of a person, therefore the responsibility to develop and nurture these values lies in the hands of the educationists.
